Hello everyone!
I haven’t done a tag in so long and since it’s nearing the end of the year and I still have many books that I want to finish, I decided to do this tag. I don’t know who started it first but I saw many bloggers and Booktubers doing it and it seemed like a fun tag to do.
Let’s get to the questions…
1. Are there any books you started this year you need to finish?
Oh yes. I have 7 books on my currently-reading shelf over at Goodreads, and I’m planning on doing a special blog post (and tbr) regarding only those. Stay tuned for that!
2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
In my head autumn is always connected to Halloween so I guess any scary or fantasy book would do. And I think I’ve already transitioned myself to it since I’ve read quite a lot of paranormal and scary books in the past month.
3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
I have requested quite a lot of arcs from Netgalley and I’m still waiting to see if I’ll be approved for those (crossing my fingers!)
There is only one new new release I’m hoping to read this year and it is How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories by Holly Black. It is about Cardan from The Folk of Air trilogy (which I absolutely loved and was so sad when it ended).
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
I know people have mixed feelings about Lana Del Rey but I have been her fan for many years and I absolutely love her music. That’s why I’m super excited to read her poetry. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint me.
Misleading a Duke is one of my Netgalley arcs and I received it so long ago but I failed to read it. I want to make my review score a bit higher so I should definitely read this.
5. Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your FAVORITE?
The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires seems like something right up my alley because I absolutely love vampires. I don’t know if I’ll get to read it this year but hopefully I do.
6. Have you already made reading plans for 2021?
I haven’t made any plans in particular but I do want to read a lot more than I did this year as well as be more active on my bloh. I’m also thinking of starting a book journal and creating a Booktube channel and Bookstagram but that’ll have to wait.
These are all the questions. This was a pretty fun tag and as usual I invite you all to do this on your own blogs.
Happy reading!
Great idea, I may use that this year, or file it away for next year.
I tried to do an IG just for my reviews, it seemed to work for a while, then for some reason I got blocked (think I met too many authors who then became friends) I can post pictures, but lost the link to my blog and and words I wanted to leave!!! But that’s a job to sort out in the next month or so!
Good luck 🤞

Ooh, that’s too bad. Hopefully you figure it out! I have a personal instagram but I don’t really want to use it for books because this is kind of my little secret haha
