Hello everyone!
Some of you have seen the post I recently did where I basically cleared out my entire Goodreads currently-reading shelf (which is completely empty at the moment). If you wonder how I did it please check out my post. Most important thing for me was to set up some rules for myself and be strict. Thankfully I liked all the books I read so I’m really glad I decided to pick them up.
That’s why I decided to do something similar with my Netgalley TBR.
We all know and love Netgalley but it can sometimes be a pain in the butt. You know those moments when you go ham on requesting books and suddenly you’re crammed and don’t know where to start. You see, I always do that.
My biggest problem is that I read mostly Fantasy but most of the books I get approved for are Romance and Contemporary. I love a good Contemporary every 1-2 months or so, but it seems to me like I’ll be reading a lot of those this month…
Why am I doing this?
You see, the answer is very simple. My feedback ratio is at 68% at the moment and I want to get it as high as possible. That’s why I’m going to clear out my entire Netalley TBR. Plus, I don’t want to go into 2021 with so many unread books!
MY NETGALLEY TBR CLEAR-OUT PLAN
*which is by the way exactly the same as my currently readin clear-out plan lol
- Read the books in any order you want
- Remove as many books as you want (as long as you have valid reasons)
- Don’t pick up any other book until you read these books
MY TBR
Keep in mind that some of these books have already been released. Still, better late than never!
I’m definitely most excited for Hopeless Romantic because I’ve already read the first book in the series and it was really cute.
The other two books are regency romances, which I loved in the past so I’m hoping I’ll enjoy it this time also!
BOOKS I’M REMOVING FROM MY SHELF
I will not be readin this book simply because I made a mistake while requesting books. I didn’t even realize this was a third book in a series and only upon being approved and checkin out Goodreads did I realize that. I don’t really have the time to be reading 2 other books before picking this one up so it’ll be a no for me.
I’m a 100% confident in myself and I know I’ll be able to finish tis very soon. Please stay tuned for upcoming reviews and wrap-ups to see if I succeeded and to find out my thoughts on these books! Happy reading!

Nice! I’m doing the same thing right now. When I started with NetGalley, I didn’t realize that I had to review all widget sent to me. I learned later that I need to be careful with what I accept.

I did this a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made. It was going great until a few months ago 😦 So, I’m playing catch up with my ARC’s this month. You’re going to feel so accomplished after this! ❤

It feels so good to cut the TBR down to something more manageable. I never like having too many unread books at a time so I tend to put myself on a ban if I have more than maybe 4 because it stresses me out!
