Best Books I Read in 2020

Hello everyone! It’s nearing the end of the year, and since yesterday I did my Worst Books of 2020 list, today I will do the opposite one. 2020 was a pretty good year when it comes to good books. I have a lot of new favorites, and overall I’m pretty happy with how my reading went.

I decided to make this list a top 6, but keep in mind that there are a lot more that I didn’t include, mostly because I wanted to keep this short and sweet. Here are all my yearly faves:

6. Foul Is Fair by Hannah Capin

A highschool retelling of Macbeth is the only thing I need to tell you about this one. It’s soo creepy but I loved it!

5. Beaus and Arrows by Rashida T. Williams

Many of you already know that this book is my favorite just because I talked about it at least 10 separate times on my blog. But honestly, I can’t stop myself from doing it. This was sooo good. It’s basically a contemporary romance where te main character is Cupid whose job it is to make people fall in love (although he’s not very good at it), until he breaks his client’s heart. I want a see this made into a movie, it would be perfect for Valentine’s! Full review here.

4. Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman

Honestly I expected to love this because I loved the movie, and I was absolutely right. I’m not a crier really but this made me cry so much it was embarassing. Full review here.

3. From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This book is 600 pages but I read it in A DAY! Tat’s how good it was. I know people have mixed feelings about this, but honestly, I loved it. I read the sequel and it was meh, but this one was so good and exciting. Full review here.

2. The Hollow Gods by A.J. Vrana

This book is the definiton of hidden gem. Honestly I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, but it hit me like a brick. It’s such a good paranormal fantasy and I can’t wait to read the sequel. Full review here.

1. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

Drumroll please… But not really because this isn’t a surprise. We all read and loved it (some more than others), but honestly I’m fascinated by how good it was. I am in love with this book and I want to read it over and over again. Full review here.
