RATING
This series was such a roller coaster, but the only thing I gotta say is, I’m sorry I didn’t read it sooner.
This review contains spoilers so if you haven’t read the book, I advise not to continue on reading this review. Thank you.
This book was the darkest of the 3 and I gotta admit, it was scary af. I found myself wondering what I would do if I had a serial killer stalking me and this all resulted in a few sleepless nights.
The major plot-twist was really something I would never expect in a million years. Our beloved Pip became a murdered and soon this turned into How To Get Away with Murder. This really made think into if this was morally right or wrong. I love how the whole series deals with the fact that no one is truly only evil or only good. All the characters are very complex, including Pip.
That being said this made me so paranoid and anxious, there was this voice in my head saying ‘Nope, she’s gonna get caught’ but even though she’s basically a murderer, I found myself hoping no one would ever find out.
I did enjoy the ending although I was hoping it would be a bit different, I was expecting a bit more from it. However, there is no denying that this whole series is freaking amazing and truly one of a kind. Plus, you just can’t stop reading it! A perfect YA mystery.
I’m curious to read other works by this author because I loved this! I know this book in particular had some mixed opinions so I wonder if you guys enjoyed it and what were your thoughts. Let me know down below!

Aah, I am so glad you enjoyed this book! I agree about it being very dark and scary, and the characters being supremely complex- but that’s just the beauty of this book!
Loved the review, Soph!

I’m glad you liked it more than I did. I didn’t expect that turn of events, but mostly the ambiguous ending upset me. I need more Ravi 😭

omg as good as dead was a RIDE! 😂 I love this series with all my heart, and I think this was the perfect finale. I totally agree with like everything you said lol, while the plot twist was so unexpected, it was fascinating (and terrifying hah). You write super well! I ranted a bit more and talk about why it’s a controversial book in my review here 😊 https://hundredsandthousandsofbooks.blog/2022/08/11/a-controversial-thriller-as-good-as-dead-review/
